Built in 2006, this was the first ship in the Musica-class. Sister ships are Orchestra, Poesia, and Magnifica.

During October 19 to November 12, 2019 drydock general maintenance and scrubbers fitted to the funnels.

There are 1275 staterooms on board, with the largest being the balcony suites. The decks are named after musical terms/tempos.

Dining options on board include:

LOleandro Restaurant- main dining room, breakfast/lunch/dinner
Belle Epoque Restaurant- split into 2 sections with one having American-vegetarian cuisine and the
other offering Italian-Mediterranean cuisine.
Gli Archi Restaurant- complimentary buffet
Onboard Pizzeria- pizza and calzones, ala carte
Il Giardino Steakhouse- steak and seafood specialty, extra charge
Kaito Restaurant- Japanese specialty with sushi bar

Nightly entertainment can be found at the Teatro La Scala Theatre which offers grand shows, concerts, and acrobatic performances. Il Tucano Bar Lounge is also a smaller show lounge with a dance floor, full bar, game shows, and classes. There is also a casino, card room, outdoor LED movie screen, Disco and Nightclub, and live music offerings in most of the lounges and bars on board.

Children and teens will have plenty to do with their very own supervised programs as well as indoor/outdoor play rooms which offer games, outdoor splash pool, mini football, and a video games arcade. They are also welcome to join the adults at the combined sports court, mini-golf course, or the Copacabana and La Spiaggia pool areas.

For a little relaxation and self-care, adults can enjoy time in the Aurea Spa & Fitness Center which offers a beauty salon, steam room, sauna, Thalassotherapy hot tubs, private Solarium with 2 whirlpools, and Gym and aerobics space. For those that prefer to exercise outdoors, there is a jogging/walking track, tennis tables, and shuffleboard.
