In May 2015 Island Princess added 120 new staterooms, remodel the Horizon Court, Moved Shore Excursion Desk, Revitalized Art Gallery and Boutiques, Upgraded upholstery, carpeting and décor throughout the ship.

There is also an outdoor LED screen for Movies under the Stars.
For children and teens there is a video games arcade, teen center, and youth center with outdoor playing areas. While the kids are busy, the adults can enjoy time relaxing at the adults-only sundeck (The Sanctuary), or at the Spa Complex which also has a beauty salon and fitness center. All guests can enjoy the Lido pool area, and the sports complex which has shuffleboard, a Central court, and mini-golf. Other notable venues include the Fine Arts Gallery, the Photo Gallery, the Library, and the Internet Cafe.
