Seabourn says the ship has a draft of 21 feet and propelled diesel-generated electricity which turns twin screws and two bow thrusters. It also has two stabilizers and employs advanced wastewater treatment technology. Sister ships are Seabourn Odyssey and Seabourn Sojourn. Highlights of the ship include a very large swimming pool surrounded by wooden decking and a central hub called Seabourn Square. Here you will find a combination library, reception, and internet cafe. This ship also has an amazing crew-to-passenger ratio of 1 to 1. Some other fabulous features of this ship include the 2-story spa (which is the largest offered in luxury cruising), a marina with complimentary water sports and in-sea pool, and complimentary welcome champagne.

This ship specifically cruises Antartica in the North American winter, and Northern Europe in the summer.

There are 225 staterooms total, and all are considered suites. They all include separate sitting-sleeping areas, a walk-in closet, smart HDTV, iPod docks, minibar, refridgerator, and spacious bathrooms. For Silver level and above members, amenities also include free internet and phone calls, complimentary spa massage, day pass for spa serene area, free laundry, discounted alcohol, and access to special offers and events on board.

Nightly entertainment on the ship includes live entertainment in the Grand Salon which features a 6-piece band, at The Club Lounge (disco and nightclub), Card Room, and at The Casino.

During the day passengers can enjoy The Club Pool Area, which has a large pool and 2 whirlpools, or the Patio Pool, which also has a sunbathing area, private cabanas, and it hosts barbecue parties. The largest spa at sea spans 2 decks and also has a spa pool as well as treatment rooms, steam room, sauna, thermal suite, beauty salon, and outdoor relaxation area.

For guests that want to stay active, the fitness center and motion studio offer classes and plenty of equipment to excercise. There is also a 9-hole putting green, and plenty of deck games.

Smoking Policy

  • Smoking (except for electronic cigarettes) is prohibited in all passenger cabins,and on balconies in Category B Suites on Seabourn Pride, Spirit, and Legend
  • Cigarette smokingis permitted on suite balconies only on Seabourn Odyssey, Sojourn, and Quest, and, depending on the ship, on one side of Observation Bar/Lounge, one side of the Sky Bar, and one side of Seabourn Square Terrace and Club Terrace
  • Cigar and pipe smoking is permitted only on open decks on Seabourn Pride, Spirit & Legend, and only on the starboard side deck area of Seabourn Square Terrace on Seabourn Odyssey, Sojourn, and Quest.

    UPDATE: In December 2016 smoking will no longer be allowed on passengers cabin balconies, nor will it be permitted in the Observation Lounge. The new policy allows smoking on the starboard side of the Sky Bar and on the starboard side of the aft open terrace. E-cigarettes are allowed in passenger cabins.
