Other Information

Built in 2005, this is the only ship in the America-class. This is the only ship that sails regular round-trip voyages only in the Hawaiian Islands.

During 2013 drydock 24 suites and 4 studio cabins were added to Deck 13. The Fitness center equipment was upgraded. Moderno restaurant was added. The Italian restaurant was renamed La Cucina. The steakhouse was renamed to Cagneys. New flat screen televisions were added to all cabins. New carpeting, internet WIFI and other cosmetic changes were done.

The 2016 refurbishment brought in updated flooring, smart HDTVs, new bedding and furniture in all cabins; New jacuzzis and loungers in the refurbished pool area; Expansion of Mandara Spa, with new Mexican décor and more treatment rooms; Addition of Dolce Gelato, Norwegians signature gelateria; Addition of Perspectives Photo Studio and Soho Art Gallery; Six computer stations, new flooring and furniture in the card rooms and library; New decor, furniture and flooring in the Conservatory; Renovations in all dining venues, including Skyline Main Dining Room, East Meets West Asian restaurant, La Cucina, Cagneys Steakhouse, Jeffersons Bistro, and new menus, based on those found onboard the Norwegian Escape.

There are 1096 staterooms on board with the largest being the 2-bedroom Deluxe Family Suite.

Nightly entertainment can be found at one of the many lounges and bars on board. The Hollywood Theater offers Broadway-style productions, with 2 shows per night. The Mardi Gras Cabaret Lounge & Nightclub has funky-themed parties and smaller shows and during the day it also hosts movies, dance classes, and other events. The Capitol Atrium is the central hub area which also has a big LED screen, dance area, and live entertainment. There is also a card room, and various bars with different themes.

Daily activities include a combined sports court, sun deck area, deck games, outdoor chess, outdoor NASA model replica gyroscope - Gyrosphere, Bungee Trampoline, Golf Nets, 2 swimming pools, and 5 whirlpools.

Children and teens can enjoy time in their separate age-appropriate clubs and lounges, as well as the video games arcade.
