The design of this ship has a New York theme, and is very contemporary. This includes a replica of the Statue of Liberty which is three meters high, and an expansive retail and entertainment area that is named Times Square. It is also very family friendly with MSCs largest Doremi kids club, and pirate-themed water park with 5 waterslides.
Built in 2021, this is the 1st Seaside EVO class ship, and the largest ship in the fleet. There are 2270 staterooms on board, and the decks are named after iconic lighthouses around the globe.
This ship also has the largest Yacht Club of the cruise line, for those who want an upscale experience and are staying in the Suites on board. This includes a large solarium, pool area, and panoramic whirlpool. It spreads over 4 decks and has an exclusive restaurant, and poolside bar and grill. The Owners Suites are also housed here. Yacht Club benefits include all food and beverages on board, a 2 device wifi package, access to the Thermal spa suite (includes saunas, steam rooms, Thalassotherapy pool, Himalayan salt room, and snow room), as well as a private butler that goes above and beyond.
There are 4 smaller main dining rooms to create a more intimate feel on the ship. There are five specialty restaurants with outstanding flavors and unique options.
There is 140,000 square feet of public outdoor space and outdoor restaurant seating, so this ship is made for the warmer weather.
The MSC Aurea spa has 21 treatment rooms, including 2 couples rooms, and an indoor and outdoor relaxation space with cabanas.
This ship is the first cruise ship in the world to be equipped with a new air sanitation system, called Safe Air, which uses UV-C lamp technology to eliminate viruses and bacteria. This creates guaranteed clean and safe air for guests and crew.
Other notable features of this ship are the top-deck Zip line, main show lounge, 5D cinema, plus 20+ bars and lounges.
