Other Information
This ship was originally one of the eight ships ordered by Renaissance Cruise Line before it went out of business. It is the second of four identical ships in the R-class.
In Nov 2012 Azamara Quest saw upgrades to the sun deck (new Astro-Turf, sun beds). Discoveries Restaurant, Discoveries Lounge and Mosaic Café were refurbished with new carpets and re-upholstered furniture. Windows Café received new furniture upholstery, carpet and tile. Fitness equipment in the gym was replaced.
During 2016 dry dock cabins got new furnishings, tvs, closet doors. Spa was updated with new treatment rooms and salon. Spa Suites added. New Asian eatery. Chefs Grill on each vessel will become a no-charge open dining option in the evening. WIFI was updated.
During March 2019 drydock the Casino was removed into turned into a lounge. 6 new Oceanview cabins were added to deck four. The gift shop was re-designed. Brand new furniture was added to the top ten suites and specialty dining restaurants. The ships new Pervasive Wi-Fi system now provides faster Internet connectivity shipwide. Interactive HDTVs in all staterooms feature new options line live TV, movies on demand, activities schedule (lecturers, shows, etc), weather updates, navigational-itinerary-port information. Passengers can book shore excursions through their TVs, as well as to order room service.
There are 361 staterooms in total, with the largest being the Worlds Owners Suites.
There are plenty of dining options for a smaller ship. They include a main dining room called Discoveries Restaurant, and Pool Grill which has lunch-only pizza, burgers, fries, and salad. There is also a buffet restaurant called Windows Cafe, and 2 specialty restaurants called Aqualina (Mediterranean Cuisine), and Prime C (steak and seafood).
This ship focuses on the destinations that they travel too, but they also have some great entertainment venues on board for day and night. They include:

During the day, guests can enjoy the Pool area which has 1 pool, 2 whirlpools, bar, and sun loungers. There is also a jogging/walking track, shuffleboard, and a wellness center with a spa. This includes a Thalassotherapy pool, Acupuncture room, hair salon, and gym.
