Other Information
This ship was originally one of the eight ships ordered by Renaissance Cruise Line before it went out of business.
In April 2016 this ship became the first ship to sail under Fathom Cruise Line sailing to Dominican Republic and Cuba.
This ship returned to P&O UK in summer 2017. The ship was sold to Azamara and started sailing as the Azamara Pursuit in March 2018. Since then it has been refurbished to create a more modern and elegant feel including a neutral color scheme.
Due to the size of the ship, it is able to travel to more intimate areas than some of the larger cruise ships. This allows for a more immersive experience.
This ship offers a Destination Immersion Program that gives cruisers more hands-on learning on marine conservation, and sustainable agriculture. This also includes wine tastings and culinary classes.
The layout of this ship is very similar to Journey and Quest ships which includes all nearly identical restaurants, bars, and lounges with a few differences. Other on board features include a pool, spa, fitness center and retail shops.
All staterooms have flat-screen TVs, mini bars, and 24-hour room service. Suite guests enjoy 240 minutes of free internet access, butler service, and free seating in the specialty restaurants.
This is not an ideal ship for families with young kids or teenagers, as there are not many offerings for those age groups.
