It is also the first ship of the fleet to be christened in the US. This is second ship in the fleet fitted with new technologies to improve the onboard digital experience. This allows guests to use smartphones, keycards, and bracelets to access their stateroom, make payments, and geolocate themselves. This ship is specifically designed to sail in warm climates, which means that many of the activities are outdoors. This includes an Adventure Trail outdoor playground with rope courses, a Zip-line, a waterpark with 5 waterslides and 2 separate kids playgrounds. Guests of all ages can also enjoy time at the Miami Beach Pool and Sundeck, Jungle Pool, sport court; or head inside for a round of bowling, arcade games, the F1 car driving simulator, or the interactive XD Cinema.
Adults have their own space at the private South Beach Pool, or the MSC Aurea Spa and wellness center. Wellness facilities include a swimming pool, Thalasso pool and room, Solarium, Yoga Studio, Nail Salon, treatment rooms, Medi Spa, Salt Room, Snow Room, Thermal Area, and fitness center.
For Yacht Club members, there is a private space called The Top Sail Lounge which has a bar, restaurant, and outdoor sundeck exclusively for those guests.
Children and teens will have plenty to do at their very own age-appropriate clubs which have plenty of supervised activities and games.
Nightly entertainment can be found at one of the many lounges and bars on board. The Metropolitan Theatre is the ships main show lounge and it offers Broadway-style productions. The Garage Club & Bar offers a disco nightclub, the Haven Lounge & Bar offers dance classes, bingo, live music, and more. There is also a library and billard room, and a casino.
