Most modern cruise ships need to be dry docked for inspection, maintenance and class surveys every five years and once they reach 15 years of age they need to be dry docked at least twice within a five-year period. Dry docks typically last up to 14 days at a cost of up to $2 million per day and involve regular maintenance including hull cleaning, exterior painting of the structure, inspection of pipes, restoration of exterior deck flooring, and installation of enhanced HVAC filter systems


This is the lines 4th vessel and second ship in the Dream-class. The maiden voyage was on March 31, 2012.

Sister ship to the Disney Dream. During drydock May 2017 added Star Wars feature, Marvel Super Hero Academy, a new frozen desert venue called Sweet on You and Tiffany & Co. Shop.

The ship has 11 musical horns that can play songs from Disney movies and parks.

Fun features on this ship include the Aqua Duck water coaster, magical portholes showing real-time sea views in inside cabins, a Remy French restaurant, and many venues for teens and adults.

There are 3 main dining rooms on board, each with their own theme. The Enchanted Gardens décor is inspired by the gardens of Versailles and features a 4-course feast. The Royal Palace puts you right in the middle of a Disney fairytale, and the cuisine is French-inspired. Animators Palate engages guests in an interactive dinner show and serves Pacific Rim and American cuisine.


During the drydock in 2017, the kids clubs were updated to add the Marvel Super Hero Academy and Star Wars Command Post.

  • Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas, cabins, and balconies. Note: On the Magic and Wonder the smoking area is Deck 9 forward port side, Deck 4 starboard from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. On the Dream and Fantasy smoking is permitted Deck 12 port side near Currents Bar. Deck 12 port side aft (outdoor area accessed through Meridian Lounge), Deck 4 portside aft (outside promenade) from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
