Click on a ship name from the AmaWaterways fleet above to go to the cruise ship deck plan page for that AmaWaterways cruise ship. You can click on column titles to sort list. PSR (Passenger Space Ratio) uses our own formula to determine the max number of passengers on the ship during peak sailing times and divides that by the total tons of the ship to determine the per passenger space ratio. Although not an exact science, the higher the ratio the more square footage per passenger. You can expect fewer passengers during non peak sailings.

AmaWaterways has 18 ships in the fleet.

There's a saying that goes, "Oceans take you to countries. Rivers take you through them." A river cruise is a fantastic way to experience the rich culture, art and history of Europe. And if you're looking to do it all in luxury, then traveling with AmaWaterways is definitely for you.

You're sure to be delighted by the shore excursions that are offered in every port. You can hop on a bike for a unique opportunity to become immersed in local culture or join a variety of paced tours. After a day of excursions retreat back to your spacious stateroom and enjoy the panoramic views of ever-changing scenery. Among the array of amenities, onboard the floating sanctuary, you can relax with a massage or get your hair styled at the salon before a delectable dinner. AmaWaterways was invited to be a member of La Chaine des Rotisseurs - a prestigious international culinary society - and with good reason. Expert chefs craft menus that feature exquisite, locally-inspired cuisine as well as traditional Western offerings that are paired with unlimited local wine and beer. To add to the list of amenities you can enjoy an intimate specialty restaurant where you can watch the chef prepare a lavish dinner right in front of you as you dine at The Chef's Table.

For those seeking to walk the path less traveled, we developed the Exotics - river cruises in Africa, Myanmar, Vietnam and Cambodia. On these itineraries, you will have unique opportunities to not only see the sights, but also be immersed in the destination you are visiting. We have carefully selected excursions that will place you amidst the rich and colorful culture of the local inhabitants, rather than merely on the outskirts. Be an adventurer by day - explore the ruins of ancient temples, be blessed by monks in remote monasteries, and delve into the unexplored, untried and unfamiliar. These truly are journeys of a lifetime, and you are sure to return with photos and stories that you can share with friends and family for years to come. From safaris by boat in search of Africa's "gentle giants" to a trishaw ride down the local streets of Vietnam, no matter which itinerary you choose, an adventure awaits you.

On an AmaWaterways river cruise, you don't just pass through a destination - you experience it. Each one of our itineraries is crafted with a paramount goal in mind - connecting you to the essence of life in each place you visit. And with a variety of dining options, shore excursions and onboard amenities, you'll always have the luxury of choosing how to enjoy your time - and the luxury of an unforgettable river cruise with AmaWaterways.
